Dr. rer. nat. habil. Norbert Schwarzer's Annus mirabilis Year - interview No1
A recent Interview with Dr. rer. nat. habil. Norbert Schwarzer on his Newton Gravity Derivation, but uniquely from a Quantum-Gravity starting point. I share a short excerpt here:
Troy: What is it about Newton’s gravity law that made you decide to ‘re-derive’ it from a metric beginning, it seems a little boring as a starting point?
Norbert: Newton’s law should be simple to extract from a higher up starting point, but the published derivations are very long and complicated. So investigating a quantum-gravity approach to see where and how it could be derived intrigued me. And then I found it suddenly popped out and I didn’t even need a page to write it down.
Interestingly, Newtons classical gravity law did not derive out of the relativity side, but fell out of the Quantum side!
Troy: Wow, that is very interesting!
